A WOPI 2026 Pre-Conference Event
Put your ideas into action at the WOPI 2026 Photonics Hackathon! Work in teams to design, build, and demonstrate a working project in response to a challenge using optics, electronics, and CAD tools.

Who Can Apply?
Undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD students from universities and research institutions are welcome to apply. Applicants should have hands-on experience with optics, knowledge of Arduino, and experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Fusion 360.
Only 20 participants will be selected based on their video statements of purpose.
How to Apply
- Prepare a 30-second video statement of purpose in English or Hindi explaining your interest, suitability, and relevant experience in optics, Arduino, and CAD.
- Upload your video to YouTube, Google Drive, or another platform, and ensure the link is accessible to anyone.
- Complete the registration form with your details and video link by November 15, 2026.
Each participant must register individually.
